*~* DOCUMENTS NEEDED *~*
1. Passport, which is valid for at least 6 months after the travel date.
2. Two (2) recent passport size photos with a white background. Print your name on the back of each photo.
3. If not a US passport holder, you need a copy (front and back) of your green card.
4. You need your original vaccination card, showing that you have had Meningitis vaccinations. The Hepatitis vaccine is also recommended.
5. If you are not from an officially Islamic country, or you have a non-Islamic name, you need one of the following documents to verify that you are a Muslim:
a: A letter of verification from your local mosque stating that you are a Muslim.
b: Your birth certificate to show that you had an Islamic name (and changed it).
c: Your birth certificate to show that your parents were born in an Islamic country.
6. If traveling with your spouse, you need a copy of your marriage certificate.
7. If you are traveling with your children, you need copies of their birth certificates.
8. If you are a female under the age of 45, you must be accompanied by a mahram. There are no exceptions. A copy of birth certificates, marriage certificates or other legal proof of relationship is required. These documents must clearly show the relationships.
9. If you are a female 45 years of age or older who is traveling without a male relative, you need a notarized letter from your "mahram" allowing travel for hajj. We need a copy of that letter, and you should keep a copy with you.
10.If you are traveling via Iran, the following requirements apply:
a: You must have a valid Iranian passport.
b: Your Iranian passport must be stamped “Resident of the U.S.”
c: If your Iranian passport is an older one, it may have the words:
“Not for travel during the months of Zul-Qada and Zul-Hajjah.
This stamp must be cancelled by the Iranian Interests Section
in Washington, D.C.
